Can I make changes to my order?

We will always do our best to accommodate any changes. Please call us as soon as possible so we can assist you accordingly.

Will my arrangement look exactly like the photo?

At Yara Design Co., every arrangement is thoughtfully designed with a floral artistry approach.

In some instances, the photo may represent a general theme or style and may include a one-of-a-kind vase that cannot be exactly replicated.

Although the final bouquet may not match the photo identically, its essence, style, and aesthetic will always be preserved.

Due to weather, seasonality, and market conditions, substitutions of flowers and/or containers may occur. If this happens, we will ensure that the style, color palette, and overall design remain consistent, using only items of equal or greater value.

If any design elements are especially important to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us directly to confirm availability.

While we aim to replicate the design shown, slight variations may occur since flowers are natural and unique.

You may request a photo of your arrangement before delivery.

Do arrangements include a vase?

Yes, arrangements are delivered with the vase shown whenever available.

If a substitution is necessary, it will be replaced with a similar vase of equal or greater value.

For special or colored vases, we will contact you before making any changes.

Do you make substitutions?

Yes. Due to seasonality and market availability, some flowers may be substituted.

We carefully select alternatives that maintain the same aesthetic, color story, and quality.

Do you carry all plants listed online?

Not all plants are available for same-day delivery.

Please call us to confirm availability if you are looking for a specific plant.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, cancellations are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Before design: Full refund

  • After design (not yet out for delivery): 30% fee

  • Out for delivery: 50% fee

What is your refund policy?

Refunds follow the same structure as cancellations.

How do I take care of my flowers?

To extend the life of your arrangement:

  • Keep flowers away from direct sunlight and heat

  • Place them in a cool environment

  • Change water every 2–3 days

  • Re-cut stems at an angle before placing them back in water

Can I order a custom arrangement?

Yes, we love creating custom designs ✨

Delivery Policy

What is your delivery area?

We deliver to Katy, Houston, Richmond, Fulshear, Brookshire, and Memorial.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Yes, we offer same-day delivery as long as the order is placed before 1:00 p.m. (local time).

Do you deliver to funeral homes?

Yes, we deliver to all funeral homes within our service areas, including Schmidt Funeral Home, Katy Funeral Home, among others.

Do you deliver to local hospitals?

Yes, we deliver to all hospitals within our service areas, including Memorial Hermann Katy, Houston Methodist West, among others.

During what times are deliveries made?

  • Timed orders (such as businesses and schools) are delivered during business hours.

  • Funeral orders are delivered at least one hour before the service or visitation begins. We confirm all times directly with the funeral home.

  • Residential deliveries are made between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (local time).

Additional charges may apply for early deliveries. We do our best to accommodate special requests. Please call us at 734-353-7616 for assistance.

How are delivery charges determined?

  • Standard delivery fee of $10 for: Katy, Richmond, Fulshear, Brookshire, and Houston zip codes 77094, 77084.

  • Other areas: standard delivery fee of $15.

Will you call the recipient before delivery?

We do not call the recipient prior to delivery, as the arrangement may be a surprise.

Will flowers be left at the front door if no one is home?

We do not leave flowers at the door unless the sender specifies it in the “Florist Instructions.”

If there is no response:

  • We call the recipient’s phone number

  • Then the sender’s phone number

If contact is made, we will coordinate the available options.

If no response is received, the arrangement will be returned to the shop and held until we receive instructions to reschedule delivery.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can call us at (734) 353-7616 (we answer calls until 5:30 p.m. local time).

Refund Policy

We accept returns only for items that arrive defective or damaged. We also offer exchanges — please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to arrange a return or exchange.

Refunds are processed immediately. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
